🔫 A corpo sleazeball got catfished, robbed blind and thrown into a dumpster.
🔫 Local gangs now live in terror of the Vault Hunters.
🔫 Successful infiltration of a restricted Hyperion landing platform by convincing the security AI its infected with a virus. Social hacking ftw.
🔫 Surviving an unfortunate encounter with impossibly cute critters of the local fauna who fry electronics just by being near them.

#BunkersAndBadasses provides around 200 special features a gun can have. And I've run out of applicable abilities over the WE while preparing for my campaign. Guess I'll have to start my own 100-item-list later today. If anyone's interested I could post the thing when I'm done with it. It will be very #Borderlands -specific though. #ttrpg #GMing

#BunkersAndBadasses #ttrpg Part 5 – BADASS MOVES 1/7

My favorite part. Badass Moves are the most iconic part of B&B. They basically allow you to suspend a lot of the rules for the sake of cool. Badass Moves also use a fancy, big, red d20 with special numbering. Whenever a VH tries something over-the-top sick-ass cool, they can turn it into a Badass Move, describe what they’re about to do and the BM decides the difficulty of the move, based on the badassery of the description.

In B&B you play a Vault Hunter. A daring adventurer specialized in finding mysterious alien vaults. Like all things B&B, this is a Borderlands theme, made fit to fantasy in keeping with the general vibe of the B&B-specific approach.

A vault hunter is created by choosing an archetype and then a class. The different combinations of archetype and class can yield very different approaches to playing a certain class or its flavor.

#BunkersAndBadasses #ttrpg Part 2 – Guns and Equipment. 1/13
Like I said before, loot is a prime theme of B&B.
To understand a lot of other elements, it is critical to understand how guns work in the game. Guns come in the form of gun cards which are used to a) show how the gun looks and what features it has and b) to dock on the side of the character sheet to show which guns the vault hunter has currently equipped.

VHs can only have up to 3 guns at the ready at a time.

So, the people have spoken (or enough at least), I will start a multi-part introduction to #BunkersAndBadasses as promised.

Part 1 – What is Bunkers & Badasses?
It's a #ttrpg created by Nerdvana Games under license from Gearbox Software. It's a slick, compact game of fantasy-with-guns mayhem that's set in the fantasy world of Pan'Dorah, which is basically the #Borderlands planet Pandora with elf ears.

A grizzled war veteran, scouring the galaxy for his lost son.
A street urchin turned assassin against her will on a bloody path of revenge.

A banjo-playing ranger and free spirit who is fleeing an arranged marriage.
And a freedom fighter/possible pyromaniac who hopes to free his home from oppression one day.
