In this video, I cover Plains Road in #BurlOn from York Boulevard to Fairview Street.

Ideally, it is best to take #HamOnt's Valley Inn Trail from York Boulevard to connect to the new cycling infrastructure, just east of the Royal Botanical Gardens.

🚲York Blvd Northbound🚲

This is my preferred route to get from #HamOnt into #BurlOn. It has some protected sections, but the high-speed roads later on are just painted lanes.

Take **Valley Inn Trail** as a safe alternative to Plains Road though!

🚲Cycling Valley Inn Trail🚲

This route in #BurlOn & #HamOnt can divert cyclists away from the cautionary section of Plains Road West where it turns into York Boulevard.

Unfortunately, there are some hills involved, but overall it is safer and more scenic!

🚲Elgin Street Path🚲

Cycling from Centennial Trail in #BurlOn to North Shore Boulevard takes you through a pedestrianized area that connects to Elgin Street.

However, crossing under the QEW can be dangerous. Perhaps one day a tunnel could be installed from Maple Park to Greenwood Drive.

🚲Cycling the Burlington Hydro Corridor🚲

I've mentioned this #BurlOn trail in many of my #Bikeability videos as a trail for #HamOnt to emulate with its own hydro corridors.

There may be some issues with it, but overall it's absolutely great!

🚲Cycling from North Shore Bv to Crosstown Trail🚲

In this video, we check out a route that some cyclists may prefer to take in #BurlOn rather than having to cycle through [2] highway interchanges. It includes Francis Road Trail, King Road, & bike lanes on North Service Road.

🚲Cycling the Centennial Trail🚲

This trail in #BurlOn can take you from the downtown area and bring you all the way to #Oakville. It is a great way to cross the city, and was designed exceptionally well!

🚲Cycling the Waterfront Trail to Burlington🚲

This enjoyable Lake Ontario trail in both #HamOnt & #BurlOn connects the two cities quite well. It extends from Grays Road, connects to the Red Hill Valley Trail, and goes all the way to Spencer Smith Park in downtown Burlington Ontario.
