Tbe Cleveland Way runs at the back of the Scalby Lodge cottages. It is a National Trail in Northern England, stretching for 110 miles (176 km) from the town of Helmsley in North Yorkshire to Filey in East Yorkshire. The section of the trail that runs along the cliffs is particularly popular offering stunning views of the coast, as well as a chance to spot wildlife such as seabirds, seals, and porpoises.

Back at Scalby Lodge in Burniston. One of our beloved holiday rental cottages. Burniston is a village located on the outskirts of Scarborough in North Yorkshire, and is part of the North York Moors National Park, which is one of the UK's most beautiful and dramatic areas of natural beauty. The area is popular with hikers, cyclists, and outdoor enthusiasts, who come to explore its rugged moorland terrain.

Back at Scalby Lodge holiday cottages in Burniston. Looking 'up coast' from the cottages (towards Whitby). The September sun serves to bring a golden glow to the fields and brings the rowan berries into high contrast.

Yesterday I posted the fields around Scalby Lodge in Burniston, N.E Yorkshire and highlighted the tree which appears in a lot of my shots, and in that photo it looked rather skeletal. Here it is again in autumn and looking much more majestic.

Back to Cottages at , just north of . I've photographed the fields at the back of the cottages so many times, and just love the single tree with the sea behind it. The light seems to vary almost on every photo I take.

I’m going to post a every day from now on. This is one of my favourites and was taken at holiday cottages in in N.E. Yorkshire. This year the field was allowed to go fallow which is great for the wildlife.

My third great-grandfather Joseph and his brother James, sent to Penitentiary, but their sentence was changed to 14 years' banishment from Upper Canada.

They were caught multiple times sneaking back in.
