Think I'm burntout a bit. Might need a day or two to regroup.

Visiting mum in hospital so won't be going to church not that I'm overly keen on the idea of Catholicism atm but oh well.

It did seem to help with certain things but idk if I like some of the veiwpoints.

Was getting frustrated by things like my drawing ability, work flow and lack of organization.

We talk a lot about #CommunityCare, but I've personally never seen it in practice, not in a deep, authentic way. So I've resisted doing #covid activism during the #pandemic because I have less than nothing to give

Yesterday was my last day of teaching before a hard earned semester of #researchleave. Like most people working in #HEUK I am #BURNTOUT. So one of my research #goals for the next few months is to rest. I have a few things I need to do but my brain needs a break. #AcademicBurnout #rest

Well, what a lovely day. #Sunday of family, some study, #pizza, croissants, black tea a film and some cuddles. But...

I used to hate this day of the week because of my job. #Science is a tough thing and it was my duty to contribute to human knowledge underpaid and #overwhelmed by work and high production rates. I got very upset, #burntout and with my #selfconfidence at its lowest.

However, I moved away from that world and now I try to be the best person I always was.

I just want to, like, not have plans for a solid three months again.

How does one recover from burnout? I can still cut code but i just dont want to. Keeping tabs on some tech but mostly just dont care any more. Sick of the cargo cults and frameworks overload and the tech giants. Other hobbies cant hold my interest either. #burntout
