Shortly after he left a Government elbows-deep in #Afghanistan and #Iraq , I recall his surprise when I congratulated him for his contributions to #PEPFAR — adding that over time, observers would assess #Bush43 ‘s work on fighting #AIDS in #Africa as their best international effort:

There are days when I’m nostalgic for #Bush43. At least that Born Again Whackadoo could swallow his own ego and follow a hallowed #politicalrule once in a while.
