Great Albums – 1970s: #PeterTosh – #BushDoctor (1978). Beginning with Legalize It (1976), Tosh built his own legacy distinct from The Wailers. On Bush Doctor, Tosh is backed by Sly & Robbie on drums and bass with guest spots by Jagger and Richards, who released the LP on Rolling Stones Records. The standout is Tosh himself, a fine singer who adds Jamaican soul to Smokey Robinson’s “Don’t Look Back” and the Bob Marley cowritten “Soon Come.
