Spent a portion of dinner last night explaining the phenomenon of Canadian Literary Nationalism and how it effect the (lack of) publication of #ScienceFiction (& #genre fiction) in #Canada until recently to Dr Min Hyoung Song from #BostonU. I hope I wasn't talking his ear off; he seemed interested.

I decided to try out #chatgpt and I've got to say, this is some very confused AI. I'm not quite sure how it worked out that New Year's Eve was on Dec. 30th and New Year's Day on Dec. 31st, but that's what it did. After asking it to verify the dates, it removed the saint's days and moved New Year's to the correct dates. Then when asked why it put New Year's Day on Dec. 31st in the original list, it apologized for its error and said that "New Year's Day falls outside of the Twelve Days of Christmas."
