Crop duster landed at the Oroville Airport with damaged landing gear. We were at scene with “Airport Rescue 92” in case there was a need. Plane landed safely. No fire, no injuries. Our resources have cleared the scene. One runway is closed as the plane is still there. #AirportIC

CAL FIRE BTU just completed its third "Re-hire" Academy week. On Monday, we will be at peak staffing for the fire season... all our fire stations staffed, some with multiple engines. 44 seasonal firefighters worked hard this week refreshing and practicing their skills.

Firefighters have contained a vegetation fire on Brad Ct. off Dunstone Rd. in Wyandotte. Fire burned 0.48 acres and was the result of a mowing operation. When using powered equipment, do so before 10 am when temps are low, humidity is high, and it’s not windy. #BethridgeFire
