Had a chilled Bank hol weekend. Got plenty of games to the table. Really enjoy #Verdant it's a go to game for a really nice relax. #Crystallo was a very belated birthday prezzie that I finally got last weekend. It was worth the wait. Really enjoy it even though I suck at it and have yet to win. Am happy that I manged a win at #Stellarion and nearly one at #Nautillion and #Aerion! And #Floriferous is always a joy to play. Finally #RiverWild is becoming a new fave from #ButtonShyGames #BoardGames

Whoop whoop. My very first #Kickstarter that I backed arrived today. 2 new #SoloGames by #ButtonShyGames. I decided to go all in for both games. It was #RiverWild I really liked the look of more but at the same time #AncientRealm also looked interesting. And they both came with expansions so it was a no brained. Am looking forward to getting these to the table #BoardGames

Now the weather as cooled and I'm sleeping I can relax and concentrate on some #Gaming I've finally got #Rove by #ButtonshyGames back to the table. Came very close to winning my last game too! Had a fun afternoon of #BoardGames. First to the table and new to me was #Sylvion in the #Oniverse by #ShadiTorbey Really enjoyed playing this and it will hit the table again. I managed a win after I had got the gist of the game before the cards turned on me. I then got #ButtonshyGames #UglyGryphonInn to the table and managed a win. I do enjoy this one as well.

Life is intense at the moment, so during my spare time I’m all about comfort games.

I find a game comforting if it
- is easy to set up and put away
- doesn’t require re-learning rules
- holds my attention enough that my mind doesn’t ruminate on my day, but my brain doesn’t feel over-taxed.
Skulls of Sedlec by #buttonshygames is one of the games that fits the bill. It also plays quickly and the solo variant has different scoring criteria to keep the game feeling fresh. #BoardGames #sologaming

Here’s a delivery that took me by surprise today: I ordered this expansion for ROVE back in November; it was despatched on 4th December and I gave up all hope of it ever arriving after #RoyalMail became incredibly unreliable. Today it arrived! Thanks to the lovely customer service at #buttonshygames who were very supportive.

This is an expansion pack for ROVE, one of my favourite “filler” games. I’ve got all expansions now, giving it tons of replay value. #BoardGames

There was time for a quick solo game of #SkullsofSedlec before dinner this evening.

I used the Monstrance expansion (required to play solo) and one of the Valentine’s features from the Holiday expansion (despite the fact I despise Valentine’s Day).

This game keeps surprising me with its replay value. The different combinations of features and scoring restrictions make the puzzle different each time I play, and the theme is fantastic. #BoardGames #ButtonShy #ButtonShyGames
