It turns out that my (still-broken~ :sadness: ) laptop's bluetooth works well with my new toy using #buttplugio, which is nice!
Also, because I'm using my computer with an external display and a bluetooth LE mouse... the vibrator messages make the mouse stutter and cut out 😅

This just came in the mail and I’m excited! Both in the normal sexy way and the nerdy hardware-hacking way, because what isn’t exciting about using open-source software to control sex toys?? (Buttplug.io + Rez, here I come!)

The basic idea here is that you need to have some sort of program that can drive a vibrator while playing the audio file. Thanks to the fine folks at #buttplugio this is do-able from a web browser. You'll need use a modern version of Chrome and you'll need a vibrator that works with bluetooth and buttplug.io. Check the list of vibrators on #xtoys to get a list of toys that are supported by buttplug.io. Go to xtoys.com, click on the "+" sign in the top right. If you see your toy in the list, you're good to go. Most #lovense toys work just fine.

I just had this weird idea that I'd love to see a machine that can #calligraphy "butts" (or anything else, but lets stick to butts for this example). A machine built on #ButtplugIO, using some sex toys as parts.

Imagine an anal plug with a fountain pen attached to it, programmed to vibrate so that it calligraphies "butts!" onto a paper at the other end of it.

I've not used a vibrating toy in forever but on a whim decided to get a pair of lovense toys for myself. Messed around a bit with the "patterns" people have published on the app and it's pretty fun.

Next I want have a go at the remote feature or maybe do something with #buttplugio
