Welp, I guess I'm not going to be making up this indie pattern I downloaded. The seam lines, which are verified to be seam lines and not cutting lines, do not match up. On the sleeve seam for the size I intended to make, the discrepancy is almost 1/2".

Is this some kind of pattern-fu I don't know about? Or is it yet another random screwup in my life?

So Buyer Beware, don't buy the #PowerA Wired Enhanced Xbox Controller. This is the 2nd replacement in under a year first one had a stick flaw 3 months in. The second one has now malfunctioned after 6 months. PowerA won't cover it because they claim I need a receipt and that they don't cover wear.

I should have known better than to trust #Samsung wouldn't do its darndest to avoid giving the trade-in payout for the phones we traded in to get a deep discount on the new Fold Z4.

"Obviously," we are now paying hundreds more and the trade-ins are of no value to us as they've been factory reset (also, the page where I'm meant to ask Samsung to send them back to us keeps erroring out FOR SOME REASON).

I normally try to avoid linking to Medium, but this article about Jabra headsets really hit home when I saw it on Hacker News. I discovered this problem for myself when I tried to use one with different devices and found that it only worked well with Android, Chrome OS tablet and one Linux laptop. Most other devices simply didn't work with my Jabra headset.

@duckduckgo Consumer Reports used to put out a great magazine for kids called ZILLIONS that called out misrepresentation in TV advertising, had kids test toys (so sometimes even if something looked cool, you could see if it wasn't very fun with testers), that sort of thing. Kind of a shame there's not a resource like that out today (that I know of).
