Reminder: a "boundary" is something you set for *yourself*. Like, "if you do X, I will do Y". The "I will do Y" part is the boundary.

"You can't do X" is not a boundary. It's a rule, an attempt to control another person. Don't let someone call you a "boundary violator" if you simply refuse to accept their rules for you.

First of all, it doesn't explain well what #Mastodon actually is. Newbies won't understand. Like, what do people actually DO on Mastodon? The website doesn't tell.

And it's full of marketing #buzzwords like "maximize your experience" (#CRINGE). People HATE this.

Also, I have no idea what the "Enhance" button does and I don't want to find out.

Finally, "Join" literally suggests the biggest server. 😩

Of course, this is just normal engineering, problem-solving, business development wrapped in #buzzwords. ("#buzzword will kill you" is a strange marketing flex, but it works too, just with a different audience.)

But normal problem-solving is necessary to solve problems, and while overhyping the tools may distract, only "You don't need to worry about climate change because #buzzword" will delay.

#CarbonCapture or #Fusion is more likely than #AI here.

Kendall delivers some incredible tech satire when he gets his buzzword diarrhea going. But last episode, in the pitch for Living+, when he referred to the gated-community as "like social media, but for real life" was next level. I'm still laughing about it today. #Succession #streaming #buzzwords
