#Dodewaard NPP was a small #NuclearPowerPlant in the middle of the #Netherlands. It was a small #BWR or boiling water reactor generating about 50 MWe (megawatts electrical). It was small because it was meant as a pilot for the Dutch nuclear industry. In 1997 it was shut down and the fuel was removed. Currently it is in a cooldown state waiting for its eventual full decommissioning.
