@ChrisMayLA6 Snap! Not having other social media to hand, means I do likewise. Of course we have to also consider the impartiality or otherwise of the media sources we are reading; except for the excellent teams.

“As has been very wisely said, had Johnson been sitting in Graham Norton’s Big Red Chair, he would have been flipped very early on in the session. Yet the chair remained resolutely unflipped to the end”.

This is a great article by @phildavies1995 asking "Who should benefit from Wales’s abundance of water?"

How can it be right to supply so much of England with water yet pay the second-highest average household yearly water price in Britain at £499?

The next election will be like no other in living memory. The UK is at a tipping point, economically, socially and democratically and the next election will in effect be a referendum as to what kind of country the citizens of the UK wish to live in and the sort of future they wish to create for generations to come. westenglandbylines.co.uk/featu

A letter to Keir Starmer: you need the courage to adopt a new way of doing politics. PR would place Labour within a broader cross-party community that underpins sustained economic progress, retains voter goodwill, and realises the fairer, more compassionate social agendas we urgently need.

The will to adopt PR is already here – in the other progressive parties, increasingly, amongst the UK electorate and, overwhelmingly, in Labour’s own community.

Brexit: a very British Greek tragedy

Even previous leave voters now agree that Brexit has been a tragedy for Britain, almost on a par with the epic myths of destruction from Ancient Greece.
