there's this thing i'm trying to do in python's PIL: recreate the color matrixing in #BYOND/Dream Maker
for context, in byond (mainly talking about space station 13 here), you can set a sprite's "color" to a list of three rgb values, in the format (red, green, blue). this is the "target" value. let's call the rgb channels in the source image the "source" value
the source (r, g, b) channels then get converted into colors (target[0], target[1], target[2])

Day 2 of my Slide-o-Snake port from #byond to #pico8, now we have what is most of the original single player game inserted. Original mode is new, yesterday's version is now a kind of easy mode.
Use x to change mode for next game, o / z is still reset. Highscores for both modes is independent.
Fixed my bug too, I didn't realise RNG alone was not an integer number XD fixed now.

How easy is #pico8 to pick up? Pretty easy!
From not knowing any code syntax, to having my 6yo get in the way and start his own project and what not, I've got a just about working version of Slide-o-Snake a game I made in 2011 on #byond.
There is a big bug I still need to fix, and a lot of the additional features still need to be added and perfected, but this is what I got out of 3 hours.
