Another of last year's highlights in lieu of #WildflowerHour images from this week. I think this Bog Asphodel was probably my favourite image of last summer, although there were a few more exciting species. This was at #BystockPools in #Devon. Day 24 of the 2022 #dragonfly #AdventCalendar thread. Last but not least, the Large Red #damselfly is the first species to emerge in numbers across the UK each year. Common everywhere including garden ponds. Christmas is almost here, roll on April!
