Fachleute, die den Gehalt von #Kohlenstoffdioxid in der Atmosphäre messen, haben einen Wendepunkt markiert: Die starke Verbrennung fossiler Brennstoffe hat dazu geführt, dass sich die Zusammensetzung der Kohlenstoffisotope in der Luft auf der Nordhalbkugel verändert hat. Seit 2021 hätten sich die Isotopenverhältnisse derart verschoben, dass die Menge an 14C durch den hohen CO2-Ausstoß nun nivelliert wird.
