It is such a buzz when the combination of a slightly batty potter and a picky carpenter works so goooood!

Problem: Need to varnish both sides at the same time, so they won't warp. #Pottery folk collect the weirdest things - like these bits of packaging. And who doesn't have a few pins laying around for sewing?

Voila!

Well if all goes well with my final exam, I am now a third year cabinetmaker/joiner apprentice. Got some finish on this small cabinet over the past two days, with a handle and knob and it fits perfectly beside the chesterfield to hold some d&d books and Lego.

It also has Frankie’s approval as a new place to observe the room.
