#CabinetOfCuriousities - The Outside. It is, as all of the series, dark and quite violent.

But also, it is a very dark critique of the desire for beauty, acceptance, the toxisity of social norms.

And what some people will do for it. Worth a watch - if you are not squeamish.

I just watched the #CabinetOfCuriousities adaptation of The Autopsy. I was very excited to see one of my favorite short stories ever getting adapted, and I think the first half was excellent. It does a good job building tension and setting up the unsettling mystery of the story. But the second half didn’t live up it the first. Only a few things were removed, but in my opinion, they were some of the most important elements, and I’m frankly baffled at their removal. 1/?

#TheViewing del #CabinetOfCuriousities es un ejercicio de estilo absoluto, tanto que carece de un verdadero fondo narrativo de interés, quedando en una superficie brillante y vacua.
Y me encanta por ello.
Esa forma sin fondo, continente vacío que tiene su propio interés sin importar lo que contenga.

Todo el Cabinet me ha gustado.

Pero The Viewing es... Especial, magnético. Es un plato precioso que no sabe a nada, porque sólo quiere ser hermoso, no alimentar.
Y es una forma de hacer arte.
