#Karting season began yesterday, and my son got his first real practice sessions in his #LO206 #CadetKart. Even getting used to the wider chassis, doubled horsepower, a cold track, and a new Turn 1, he put down lap times similar to his best #KidKart times. Should be a fun season for him and his friends!

I'm awaiting new parts for his kid kart, since I want it in top condition prior to selling it; but I did get the last parts to finish the swap on my kart from a #KA100 to an LO206, so we can race on the same days and get some practice sessions together.

In the mood to go #cycling and get these things done, but weather and muscle strains made today a rest day. Finally watching #IndyCar qualifying for St. Petersburg before today's #F1 race. F1 and #FormulaE are doing a lot to promote true sustainability, but I feel like IndyCar and #IMSA could be doing more than a relatively light hybrid and sustainable fuels. I often worry that those fuels are a bit of a carbon 'shell game.'
