A small thought about gender roles, equality & what happened to a ‘kick-arse’ female lead when she got married? We watched #AvatarWayofWater recently (having enjoyed the first film) only to discover a lesson in traditional female domesticity & male patriarchy which seems to just scream at me. Peak moment is when Neytiri sits in her new leaf-house chopping veg while JakeSully seeks her advice about the kids (and yes, he’s not cooking the food). Anyone else disappointed by this? #CalamityJaneAgain
