At the start of this year I signed up for #ScottishCanals #CanalChallenge200 - it was all to do with celebrating the 200th Anniversary of the opening of the #UnionCanal and the #CaledonianCanal.
Well, at some point this afternoon and somewhere in #Camelon I reached my target of #walking 200 miles along Scotland's canals this year.
Feeling quite chuffed.

Although it isn't exactly in line with energy saving, I like these events when they - literally - spotlight buildings.
To mark its 200th anniversary, the Caledonian Canal will be lit up this weekend: tomorrow night Neptune's Staircase, #Banavie & #Gairlochy Lighthouse and Tomnahurich Bridge in #Inverness on Sunday night.
