@jantafrench I'm so happy you are trying. We need other journalists too. This place has a really different vibe than Twitter. So many of us love it. I hope the lag will get fixed. If any other journalists come over, make sure they do things like use #albertanews or #calgarynews in their posts. Because then we can follow those tags. We're excited for this place here after being so beat down from Twitter.

@ollie_francis Yep. You'd think that #journalists would realize all of us here on Mastodon can follow #hashtags. So please #journalists, pick some standard #hashtags to use for us to follow. Like say #albertanews #canadanews #calgarynews
