Hottest day in quite a while. But by closing windows early, the house stayed “cool” without any additional cooling than what fans provided venting the house with outside air overnight. BUT this is only the beginning. The thermostat is set to 27ºc (80.6ºF.) Sure I'd like cooler, but already cannot afford this setting. So long as the night is cool though, that's the most cost-effective method! #LAHeat #CaliforniaHeatwave #CaliforniaWeather
