My cheap kettle boils noisily, loud enough to drown out conversations carried out over oceans by tin cans and cable wires. I’m stuck between #smallmoments where I think (yet again) how I’d like to have tea brought to me with love while I work or potter, and catching myself in that yearning and trying to shut it down.
Tears in my tea will only make it salty.
