We’re still wandering around waiting for something to happen in the Order of the Silver Twilight. We had a talk about the expanding universe, astonishing stuff for 1925. Which was then followed by drinks – alcoholic drinks, which was again astonishing (illegal) for 1925. But nothing which would give us the impression that the Order are in any way odd.

I have been thinking quite a bit about how, in the 1920s, Citroen organised a series of weird publicity stunts where they would drive these half-tracks from Paris to China and places in Africa. The Chinese one ended with half the expedition being kidnapped by bandits. They had to escape on horse-back. How is that not a #callofcthulhu campaign already? #ttrpg

Question to #CallOfCthulhu / #CthuluMythos fans: What methods of time travel into the past have been described so far that are potentially usable by humans?

I gotta say, the #IlluminatedWorlds system just doesn't grab me.

Maybe because all we have so far is an introductory guide, so I can't really explore it fully.

But it seems like it's still a quite deadly game without leaning in to it, like #CallOfCthulhu or #Mothership do.

And the built-in world doesn't make me want to play in it.
