I just downloaded #Callsheet, and it’s really good. It’s a nice alternative to IMDB. What it does that makes it so much better, is it allows you to block certain things, the if you look up a TV show, you can block out how many episodes the character is in, so you’re not spoiled. There is so much more. This is my new choice for movie and TV show searching app. Good job @caseyliss
If you are also using #Callsheet by @caseyliss , and want to have links to open in your #Letterboxd app, I created a shortcut to do just that:

@jarunmb
I got excited and then immediately confused until I realized the Callsheet app on Android isn't the same thing 😂
There is a reason I prefer to support Indie Developers whenever I can; they listen to their customers. Case in point:
After installing @caseyliss new App #Callsheet, I sent feedback asking if there was a URL scheme that would open up the app directly to the search box that I could tie to a shortcut. It was definitely a long shot I knew.
He replied that there were some, but not any for what I wanted. I appreciated the quick reply and understood. Literally 5 minutes later I get another email saying he just added it. AMAZING!
Not something I ever expect, but absolutely awesome he felt it worthwhile to add.
If you're looking to ditch the hot mess that is IMDB, take a look at "Callsheet: Find Cast & Crew" in the App Store. Thank you Casey for a great app!
For those interested, the URL scheme is "callsheet://activateInput"
Here's a new app recommendation I found on The Verge for any #iPhone users. Callsheet: Find Cast & Crew is a fantastic alternative to IMDB. It's a subscription app so it won't be for everybody but it's so much nicer to use than IMDB and I think the price is actually pretty reasonable considering how much I use it. I actually signed up for the year so I don't have to give IMDB/Amazon my advertising eyes, there are no adverts at all (yet) & I support smaller devs. Win/Win! #Apple #IOS #Callsheet

One enjoyable discovery about @caseyliss #Callsheet is that the Pinned Items section can effectively be a straightforward watchlist as well as a reference aid.
@caseyliss I think you mentioned Sweden on #ATP and I can confirm, the monthly plan is cheaper than the yearly in Sweden. So signing up for the monthly plan for your super app #callsheet 🤷♂️🫡
While listening to @atpfm Episode 547 about @caseyliss #Callsheet app’s slow pickup, one possibility is that currently many shows are on breaks and it’ll spike when new seasons start again
Delightful iOS app for Movie & TV trivia: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/callsheet-find-cast-crew/id1672356376 #callsheet by @caseyliss
Hi @caseyliss enjoyed hearing your journey with your new app on @atpfm, here’s my first #CouchIncident using #Callsheet
I really am enjoying #callsheet by @caseyliss but now wonder how long until he gets a #nastygram from #Amazon Lawyers with some threat.
@caseyliss you probably have like five thousand people telling you this, but just in case, typing a search while in a TV show season seems to crash #callsheet
@caseyliss Overall I like #CallSheet. One suggestion. I'm not using the app to browse "Popular Movies", I'm there to look for something specific. When I open the app, I want to start searching immediately. To do that in the current design, I have to tap the app, then tap the search bar, then enter what I am searching for. It would be better immediately focus on the to search bar when I start the app. The exception, I'd think, would be staying on the last thing I was looking at last.
@caseyliss I know you're all about #Callsheet today, but tornados are on their way to much of DC/VA, etc... be safe, okay dude?
#Callsheet by @caseyliss is fantastic. I still have to use IMDb for worky-work stuff, but I will never have to open IMDb again for personal use 🎉
To ensure that muscle memory does not taint my television viewing experience, I’ve made a #Shortcuts automation to open Callsheet if I happen to accidentally tap the other app after work hours.
If anyone out there is frustrated with using IMDB on the web, check out @caseyliss Casey LIss app #Callsheet. It is very easy to use and has a great interface that gets to all of your favorite information without all the website clutter and distractions. The cost is nominal and allows Apple family sharing. There is a trial period also.
I have to say I've been waiting for #callsheet by @caseyliss for a while. Downloaded it this morning and instantly deleted #imdb from all of my devices.
If you are a movie/tv fan and are constantly looking up actors, then this app is for you.
It's easy to use and doesn't have all the CRAP that IMDB has implemented to improve revenue at the cost of user experience.

Go check out @caseyliss 's new app #Callsheet. It's like the IMDB app but actually good.
Even though you subscribed to get unlimited searches, here's a fun game you can try: get to the page for whatever show/movie you're currently watching not by searching, but by clicking through cast/crew/show links from the homepage, Wikipedia speedrun style.
(Here's me getting to Fight Club from the homepage)
@caseyliss @atpfm A good thing about a free trial for #Callsheet is that it will capture people who just need a single extra search that day, but don't need it enough to feel like paying for it. A paywall might prompt them to just turn to IMDb, but if they can get it for free without leaving Callsheet, they'd probably be more likely to sign up.
Omg this app is so good. Thank you for saving the world from IMDB. Take my money already!
