Whereas if I am on a #HamRadio instance, and only using my callsign then I am relatively "anonymous" in that it's harder to link me and my callsign.

This means you can see what callsigns others have applied for, and make a decision whether to spend your $35 on an application or not.

I fixed predictions for what is considered a duplicate application. It turns out that the #FCC doesn't consider unpaid applications as counting against the duplicate.
So if you file two applications on the same day, but the second one is paid, the second one will be processed as normal and not the first.
If they were both paid, the first application will be processed and the second rejected as duplicate.
