"Political support for Cambridge congestion charge falters"

I suspected the LibDems would withdraw support for the Cambridge congestion charge. Doing so helps in the party's battle with Tories in key council wards and parliamentary constituencies.

The political shenanigans leave us with the problems of a rapidly growing but fundamentally mediaeval city in near permanent gridlock and appalling air quality.

NHS staff already priced out of Cambridge, won't be able to travel. Elderly already can't get around. Food prices will rise further. All local dvsa tests go from Cambridge. The only reason councils want congestion charge is to milk more money.
