Two months after finishing the #CaminodelNorte, my family got me this for my 60th birthday. As well as commemorating an epic adventure, it pays homage to a dear friend who departed on his final journey earlier this year. from bilbao we planed to ride the #caminodelnorte to santiago de compostela.
unluckily the northcoast of spain is not only hilly, there is also a big fat highway destroying our romantic idea of riding along. 😝

after a stressful dayride we luckily found the nicest campspot. 😍
