Today, I’m sharing my 1954 #Bowman Roy Campanella. #Campy was already an established #negroleagues #allstar #catcher when the #brooklyn #dodgers signed him in 1948. He continued his stellar play, culminating in the Dodgers’ 1955 #worldchampionship. Sadly, his career was cut short in 1958 when his car flipped on an icy road, breaking his neck and leaving him paralyzed. The movie Violent Night is an amazing film. 100% recommend if you like #campy #horror.

A lot of #comics and #movies in my childhood and youth were inhabited by extremely attractive females in #campy #kitsch outfits that were tight and spiky in all the right places, #cosplaying as #vampires, #witches and #aliens on a quest to enslave all men.

Inexplicably they were always defeated by a posse of dense party poopers in the end, and that turned out to be excellent preparation for the dull drudgery of #adulthood.

After watching Spiders 3D this was definitely a refreshing change of pace!

Also - a lot of legit actors you will know in this. But it still plays out pretty low-budget which was nice!

Definitely a #horror #comedy movie.. quite a bit of topless women which you can judge as you will. 😁 Some really ridiculous attacks, and near the end things get bonkers in a great way!
