If you use a #Ring (or other) #doorbell #camera, you're a #cop.
Especially if you live in a #suburban or #rural area. Then, you're most likely also a racist, fascist, coward, or a combination of all these.
#Security #cams can serve legitimate #safety and #security needs, but the doorbell camera subcategory too easily serves illegitimate ("nosy", "concerned" neighbors) and illegal (warrantless #police and #corporate viewing) purposes.

Following #Brexit, @CopernicusECMWF moved its servers from UK to Italy, causing a 5 week interruption of service. The @PoleTheia #Sentinel2 L2A prod relies on #CAMS data: we had to cancel real time prod. It has now resumed and all backlog was cleared :)

Wie der Copernicus-Atmosphärenüberwachungsdienst #Cams der EU heute mitteilte, werden die zwischen Anfang Juni und Ende August in der Europäischen Union und Großbritannien ausgestoßenen Mengen an Kohlenstoff auf 6,4 Megatonnen geschätzt.

CAMS reports that not only large parts of the Northern Hemisphere were affected during this year’s #boreal fire season, but the number of fires, their persistence and intensity were remarkable.
