It's a shame that there doesn't appear to be any presence from Canadaland on the Fediverse yet... They are excellent journalists, and their series on Monopolies and Oligopolies of Canada was as revolting as it was fascinating. Highly recommended, even for those outside of Canada.

I've had complicated feelings about #Canadaland. I'd $upported them in the past, then stopped, but today I signed back on for $99/year. They have covered important stories to a depth that major media in Canada either can't afford or is unwilling to. They're agile enough to shift to podcasting as a primary media. They also frame paid membership as "supporting" rather than "subscribing", which is somehow more psychologically palatable for me - I'm not thinking is this worth $x/week.🤔
