I keep seeing that number in wildfire reporting. I have no concept of what that size means. I know it's huge but not in a meaningful way.
Could anyone who does compare it to something understandable?

IH also set up a phone line where families can receive updates on the location of their loved ones. That number is 1-833-469-9800. Hours of Operation will be Monday to Friday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

@evco I just woke up and we have smoke in the Valley here in #PortAlberni from a nearby forest fire. We have had multiple fires nearby since May. It is totally unheard of for this time of year.
