Parlee Brook “ice amphitheatre” near Sussex, New Brunswick, yesterday. Shows Dennis Reid (https://dennisreid.ca/) sketching. This is an unmarked trail — neither of us had heard of it before he saw it on Facebook (and I grew up an hour away). 3.5 km hike each way with a steep, 230 m climb over the first 1.2 km. Getting to the remote #wilderness #MoonRiverWaterfalls is sometimes quite tricky depending on the water level.On this day we managed to boat to this spot on the river as beyond this point was too treacherous for the boat. The water levels were quite high and the falls were wild.The flow was so thunderous that we could hear it at the cottage about 3 km away!

While out boating on #McGregorBay #Ontario, we found a hidden inlet between lichen covered #rock #islands with one end being impassable by boat. The #lilypads dotted the water surface and the clouds and #PineTrees reflecting in the still water was just beautiful. #FreeShipping Canada & US!
