New to Mastodon and long may it prosper! This is "Siegfried" The Grey-Headed Flying Fox. These beautiful bats can be found in abundance in Commonwealth Park, Canberra. Help protect them by only buying bird-safe netting for your fruit trees. Plus, if you grow more of their native food in your garden (i.e., native plants with lots of nectar, like grevilleas) they'd rather eat that than your fruit.
