I wanted to cancel my broadband contract, but as I had six months left on it, my provider wanted £70 to cancel it.

So instead, I *renewed* my contract, which cost me nothing to do. Stay with me on this.

Fast forward to today. I rang up my provider and cancelled my broadband. "What?", I hear you ask. Well, I was now within my 14-day cool-off period on a new contract, so I was legally allowed to cancel with no penalty or fees 😂
