Hypertensive crisis *also* impairs verbal processing and causes what feels like hot flashes. When one is happening, compression stockings, for obvious reasons, only make it worse.

I'm also under medical instructions to take antihypertensives, particularly #candesartan. I don't think it's a very good idea but I'm doing it anyway because otherwise I will be considered noncompliant.
