We collected 12!!! #canetoads tonight Have the fridge running and they r now refridgerating humanely And then they will go into the freezer this time tomorrow night 😊😊😊😊 Then I’ll call the frog-road collectors and they will extract the venom and use it to make antivenom In the process we r saving these 👇🏽 little fellas #frogs so they can freely live 😊 🐸 😊😊 🐸 #greentreefrog #seqld this beautiful little fella was on the front fence. I hope to make them a frog hotel No flash used just slower exposure

ABC News - Giant cane toad found in Conway National Park in north Queensland weighs 2.7kg

This amazing 2.7 kg cane toad was found nearby where I live. It might have been a record... just look at this beastie!

I'm kind of sad it was euthenised, but it's for the best. Cane toads have completely devastated our native wildlife.

#CaneToads are an invasive species in Australia. We take them out of the environment on a regular basis. They are ethically and humanely euthanised. Their bodies go to create a bait to remove their toadpoles from watersources.
Last nights adventure included a male Koala bellowing, Boobook Owl, geckos, FrogID recordings and frog sightings and about 90 Toads removed. Count for this property is now about 450. #biodiversity #landforwildlife
