@bplein I agree that the Fediverse is broader than just Mastodon. That said, "canines" is a much broader category than simply "dogs" (or even "wolf-like canids").

I guess you could say that #dogs are to #canines as Mastodon is to the Fediverse. 🙂

I am always saddened when people say they don't like #dogs. I mean, you get to have your opinion, but some of the best people in my life have been #canines. They are funny, loving, curious, silly, smart (er, sometimes), and bring an eagerness to life that is contagious.

Man, I used to love drawing thin, spindly canine creatures. I should get back into that.
