Also, this was news when vote was taken, but mainstream media didn't bother to cover it at the time - a fact it refuses to acknowledge, so all coverage has to pretend this strike came from nowhere out of the blue. Shameful.
At any rate, a strike mandate is a strike mandate. Get over it. #CanLabour #PSAC

I love the way the media largely ignored this looming strike and now are acting like it's a big surprise that somehow just snuck up on everyone. I know it's easier to report on horse-race politics than labour relations, but still...
