Finally saw Texas Chain Saw Massacre 2 yesterday. Really enjoyed it. Compared to the original, it's silly, but also scarier, I think. Definitely more entertaining. The original was kind of slow.

Are the other sequels and remasters worth checking out?

Rusty Lemorande fue el director de los primeros 8 minutos. En contra de su voluntad y buscando economizar los primos Golan-Globus lo fusionaron con lo rodado para la segunda parte de "Alien from LA" (1988) de Albert Pyun

Para seguir economizando reciclaron la música compuesta por George Clinton para otras películas de Cannon Films... Vamos.... un collage en toda regla digna de #GolanGlobus y #CannonFilms

The various African tribes in the movie are all portrayed as uncivilised, savages, inferior, or cannibals. Most of them only exist in the plot as obstacles for the white protagonists to overcome.

Racist slurs abound.

Even the Germans get the H.P. Lovecraft treatment.

Finally found a copy of King Solomon's Mines (1985) to watch.

I only saw this movie once before, as a very young kid, but I remember loving it for all its crazy adventures. I'm pretty sure I saw it long before ever seeing an Indiana Jones movie.

But as fun as it was to watch again, it's difficult to recommend it. The main reason is that, in hindsight, it's *really, REALLY racist*.

The Barbarians is so stupid; I love it.

The characters are hilariously dumb.

The protagonists are the oiliest, most roided up pair of twins I've ever seen, with a ridiculous donkey laugh.

But what makes it really worth watching are the set and character designs. They capture this great heavy metal aesthetic that personifies the kind of D&D setting I've always wanted to run someday.

Moonfall was really good! I was expecting it to be super cheesy like The Core, but it was pretty competent and fun. Had some ideas I don't think I've seen before in a sci-fi, but I'm no scholar.

Next up: the Barbarians. You know you're gonna be in for a great time when the Cannon Films logo appears on the screen and the upbeat techno kicks in.

Next, I want to see more Cannon movies. Bloodsport was fantastic.

Finally got a day off after some long months at work. That means it's time to kick back and watch bad movies!

First up is Bloodsport. I've never seen a Cannon movie before, but always heard great things. 20 minutes into Bloodsport and the dialogue is *amazing*.
