5 years ago today we had our final night on holiday in We had a 40 min window of clear sky to grab some photos before the Waning Gibbous Moon rose. The reflections of + MW on the sea are amazing 18-55mm kit lens, single 20sec shot at ISO-1600.

Overnight 31st Jan '23 I imaged C/2022 E3 (ZTF) with a + kit lens for 9 hours from Oxfordshire, UK. You can see the tiny comet moving around Polaris as the Earth rotates, but also see how fast it was moving against the background stars. Last night I was able to easily locate in my 8x42 binoculars. It was visible in single shots taken with a + 50mm lens, but how does it compare to ? These images were taken with the same kit. ZTF is lovely, but tiny by comparison!
