My sister in-law is #HIV positive and is expecting her first baby any moment now. We are super excited for her (and frankly, also for selfish reasons). She is not going to pass the infection on to the baby. Her medication works fine to suppress the virus well below any critical thresholds.

I was diagnosed with #HIV in 1998, when I was 30.
At the time, I did not expect to live to 50.
I’m 55 now.
HIV treatment works and it means I can’t pass it on - we call this #UequalsU.
HIV changed. Tell everyone.
