Set your #default #configuration when connecting to a port as "charging" instead of "media #transfer" etc. Again this is by default is $enabled as charging, but incase u changed it, better #revert it back as a #safe habit.
Incase u are #worried and still not #convinced with 1 & 2, just get a charging-only #cable, the usual cables have #capability to both charge and #data transfer. The charge-only cables can't be used to transfer data or do those #malicious things in public ports.

A lot of (most?) reliable #CapabilityAddressing schemes tend to require hardware features to ensure it.

Neither did they silo you into solely using them with a particular program though.
But the unix model of #filesystem #storage has been a nightmare for #metadata, and non-transactional filesystems in general for #DataConsistency & #integrity.
A #PersistentObject #database served by a #capability broker would be far superior for security and data management.

A lot of the bugs involved in the runtime also would've been impossible had it been written in something sensible like #Ada or #CommonLisp with a halfway sensible permission/ #capability system.
