@jackLondon @lassielmr Personally I think Brexit and recent governance is part of a pattern. Judicial accountability, freedom of the press is over. Democracy is over. Not just in the UK but in the US and elsewhere. The French economist #ThomasPiketty paints a grim picture of how the vestiges of old tri-functional systems (feudal England, ancien régime) live on in centralised states esp. 🇬🇧 &🇺🇸 It makes for grim reading. #CapitalEtIdéologie.
