There's an approach to 'taming' #capitalims which focusses on the 'right to repair' & stresses the problems of built in, limited time-expectancy for products.

This has played out in IT & of course has been popularised in BBC's #TheRepairShop, but, perhaps more surprisingly this approach has now been forced onto #airlines due to a shortage of aeroplane production.

Aircraft repair firms saw a nearly 20% increase in demand last quarter; United's spend on spares has risen 64% in tow years!
