I'm only relatively new here, & in fact still only ~6months into having any active social media presence of any kind. It's my second #Masto #Instance. I moved here from the first one, a tech-based one, once someone pointed out to me that a lot of the topics i tend to post about were apparently against their rules, which shocked me.

I never really thought of whether i'm an anarchist or not, in fact i feel quite naive. I hope this post won't actually get me run out of town as some fraud here, or somehow some bad person.

All i know is that i care passionately about there being, in an ideal world, NO NONE ZERO ZILCH: #RWNJs, #Fascism, #Patriarchy, #Religion, #Poverty, #Cruelty, #Racism, #WhiteSupremacy, #ClimateCrisis, #CapitalistConsumerism, #Misogyny, #Homophobia, #Transphobia, #War, #Invasions, #Genocide, #Military, et al. My #Politics are stridently anti-rightwing & pro-leftwing, BUT always with a dominant pro-#Gaia priority.

However, i'm a geeky peep too, so i love participating in chats about #FOSS, #Linux, #Browsers et al. I love #Logic, #Whimsy, #WordPlay & #Literature.

Given all that, it seemed to me after investigation that #Kolektiva might be able to tolerate a peep like me. I hope i was not just being silly. 🤞

PS: I'd be a big liar if i pretended that the luxury of having a 10K-character limit in posts here, vs the miserly default 500 elsewhere, was not *also* a nice drawcard for me 😊
