STOP using 2- or 3-letter ! They won't help neither you nor anyone else. They just lead into a labyrinth of information no one needs.
Use and tags AND make then readable and
love you too ๐Ÿ˜‰

Be pro- . So that screen readers don't end up spelling multiple-word hashtags out one letter at a time (please consider how frustrated you would be if this was your experience!) do this:

aka

aka

So much easier for people not using screen readers to decipher too, especially when seeing it for the first time.

3) In multi word hashtags, . It helps those using text readers.
4) Add Alt text descriptions to your images (helpful for low vision individuals)
5) Consider a CW as a polite way to cover controversial topics (politics, religion, etc)
6) Search for hashtags you are interested in to find people with similar interests
7) When you see a post you appreciate, like and boost it. The like/favorite button only notifies the author, it doesn't make the post more visible.

@emilyk i heard and shared that too. Then was informed that it's worse at the end and please incorporate into the body, but for readability.

Side note: funny to me that the suggested hashtag for the capitalize tag was written all in lower case

@lichenlady94 hey Dr. Egbert! Love the hashtags! Just as a heads up for accessibility, if a hashtag is multiple words itโ€™s good to so that people using screen readers can best use it! Our knowledge is best shared when itโ€™s accessible! ๐Ÿ˜„
