I just realized the drugs that squirt in the eyes that are used in #StarTrekPicard was totally stolen from #Caprica. Terry Matalas had previously mentioned on the bird site how much of a fan he is of #BattlestarGalactica. It was a "borrowed" prop.

Yeah it is a slow burning one. Very different in pace as compared to #BSG.

Should have received its 2nd season, which would have shown the rise of consciousness of Cylons.

I finally finished #Caprica. I am still unhappy with a lot of what was happening in the first half of the season. The second half of the season was much better. Just my theory, but I think some producers got yelled at, or audience feedback and reason reached the show. The last episode made the whole series (season) worth watching. I was worried there would be an abrupt ending, but it bridged into #BattlestarGalactica very well. #BSG

There is one issue I have with #Caprica. I have only seen the first two DVDs from the series so far, but they come really close to sexualizing teenagers, without quite crossing that line. However, others would certainly disagree and say the show does cross the line. I suppose I shouldn't too surprised given the amount of sex in #BattlestarGalactica, but I am still disappointed in Ronald D. Moore. Moore has lost hero-status with me because it. It has a brilliant story line. I will watch it all.

Caprica Series is known but Caprica Movie? What is that?

And #caprica was a slow burning and good series. As a prequel it was great. That is with the Battlestar Universe, 12 worlds each having the possibility of a different textured story. Wished they had gone for a 2nd season.

It has been a long time since I got this excited about something that came in the mail. The complete Caprica series, plus the Caprica movie, new, unopened, which I found for bargain bottom dollar on eBay. I just couldn't pass it up. They are a fortune other places and I expect will only get more expensive over time. I've never seen the series.
